London calling – part 1

Thanks to Ryanair it’s very easy and when you are lucky cheap to get around in Europe. In our case we travelled with Ryanair to London and back. Even though we had some delays we could easily ignore that, due to the good price and the short flight time.

London welcomed us with bad weather: Snow, wind and freezing cold temperatures. It was a bit warmer than in Northern Germany but the cold wind was not really fun. But luckily there are many things you can do, even when the weather isn’t good. And with a little help of Google it’s much easier to change plans than it was 15 years ago without. And one thing we really enjoyed as well: Since last year there are no additional cost for data roaming in the EU anymore. That means: We could use our cellphones hasslefree as we do at home.

London makes it very easy to travel around with trains and buses. We already bought a smart card at home. In London we just needed to validate the card before and after any ride, that’s all. As Staples would say: That was easy! We also walked a lot through the streets and discovered many nice places.
I don’t want to bother you with details what we did exectly; instead here are some photos:

Have a good start into the new week and enyjoy your weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚
