Grocery shopping in Germany can be annoying. Today the line at the checkout was like 50 m long and we had to wait for 15 minutes (with older ladies trying to cut in line) – that’s something we NEVER (!) experienced in Canada or USA. But when we saw the toilet, all we could do was shake our heads:
And this is not a single case, it is more or less normal that you have to pay for using the toilet in supermarkets or stores. When the supermarket has a toilet that is – which doesn’t happen that often.
No service please, we are German!
