Summer finally reached northern Germany. It could be a little cooler though – but I don’t want to complain about the great weather. 🙂

Because of that, we took our bikes and drove through the Lüneburger Heide, which is in front of our doorstep. Actually we are living  a little outside of this area but I don’t want to be more Catholic than the pope 🙂 .

What I love about this area is, that you can use well maintained side roads, which are almost empty. We passed some really nice flower fields, small rivers, old farmhouses and at the end we had around 25 kilometre on the odometer.
