I have reduced my photographic activities to a minimum due to the rainy weather. But since the sun came out today, I got my warm clothes together to finally get a good photo of a Kingfisher.

I had to change my “Kingfisher place” in the meantime, since the small pond, where my chances where actually pretty good, is a private property and access is prohibited 🙁 .

I already found a new spot where the bird comes by sometimes. But it is pretty wet and and I am sinking into the mud with my small stool. But actually this is not the biggest problem: When the Kingfisher does not show up, I can’t take a picture 🙂 .This is why I only post two selfies of my photo setup.
