Walking through the rainforest

When talking about rainforest, you usually may think about the huge forests in South America. But due to the climate there are many of them in Western Canada, as well as in Oregon and Washington.
There is moss everywhere and the air is fresh and crisp, even on warmer summer days. The trail we walked is called “four lakes trail” in the Alice Lake Provincial Park and we return here again and again over the years, because it is so beautiful.
It’s a easy hike, with only one nasty climb right at the beginning (at least for us..). The route takes you along four small lakes and always through the woods.

Have a good start into the new week ๐Ÿ™‚
