When looking back to 2019 I am happy that the year is over. For me personal it can only get better. But this is another story which I will maybe tell you later this year.

What is the best start into new year? Correct, get some fresh air with an extended walk. The bad thing: It felt like all other people around here had the same idea. When we arrived at the car park of the “Kemnader See” the first challenge was to get a parking spot. The next one was to get between all the other pedestrians, joggers and dogs without getting hurt 🙂 .

The good thing was that the extended walk around the whole lake is around 10km. And when we got a little distance to the car park, it got less crowded.

Two things we got to know while walking:

• There are many King Fishers around the lake – a good reason to come back!

I wish you all a good start into the new year. I can tell you one thing that should make you curious to come back again: We never planned our vacation as early as we did this time. And: our “main” vacation is not the USA this year 🙂
