When you are not outside during daylight when the sun is shining, wintertime can be pretty much dark and grey.

I am happy that some parks bring some light intgo the dark season of the year. Spontaneously I can think of the Grugapark in Essen or the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver. We have visited both parks when they were beautifully illuminated.

And now the Westfalenpark in the city of Dortmund is added to this list. All photos have been shot without a tripod, since we had our kids with us. 🙂
