Relax some days near the North Sea in the Netherlands – we are lucky that this is possible, since it is only 3 hours by car from where we live.

Well, it was not that spontaneous actually. But driving to the Netherlands does not need as much preparations as a 3 weeks road trip to the US. And you don’t need to be afraid to pack to many things – the car is large enough for a short trip 🙂 .

What’s good when you are away in March when most people celebrating Karneval: Beaches that are crowded in the high season are almost empty these days. Only few people are walking along the shore and just a handful are brave enough to kite surf in the bumpy sea.

Weather was a mixture of everything: Sun, rain and wind. But it was good enough to enjoy a hot chocolate with some sunbeams and view on the beach 🙂
