After I already showed you some of the photos from our trip to London, I now like to give you some specific recommendations what you can do in the city.
Of course everyone has different interest. But I also think many will find something fun to do.
Let’s get started:
London 006 Go through the streets and look at streetart.
London 061 There are whole streets full of it - most of my streetart photos were shot in the "Hanbury Street".
London 017 Walk trough the city by foot and photograph "The Gherkin"...
London 019 ...or any high rise building with a sign in front of it ๐ . London is actually more than suitable for street photography!
London 020 Could not resist to stop at this one - creative, isn't it?
London 021 You need to go into a Pub at least once when yo are in England. Believe it or not; You can even get some decent food in a Pub ๐ .
London 068 Stroll through Chinatown!
London 070 It feels like you are in China. Many Asian people around and all signs are in Chinese language.
London 081 Watch the "Change of the Guards" and get a part of the crowd around you.
London 087 You are wrong at this place, in case you don't like many people around you. And there are MANY of them.
London 089 But it's nice to view anyway.
London 093 When finished, you can walk from there to the
"London Eye".
London 124 A ride with the Ferris Wheel is not cheap, but you can find many different kind of vouchers in the internet. We printed one at home and got 50% off the ride.
London 122 It's one of the things which are nice, but also one of the things you don't need to do once again.
London 126 Take the tube to get around. Actually this is the easiest way to move. You can easily do most of the things by foot if you like to. But the city is huge and as a tourist you only have a limited amount of time.
London 096 Take a photo of the pretty red phone boxes. In these days the only reason why they still exist are the tourists.
London 113 Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are also worth a picture. Did you know that you can't go into these buildings as a tourist ?
London 128 Walk through the "Leaden Hall". Nothing really spectacular but the ceilings and the buildings themselves are really nice to view.
London 130 Get a coffee in one of the Cafes. After our last trip to Scotland were really were disillusioned about the Coffee on the Island. But we can calm you down - you can get really good coffee in London (just try to avoid the large coffee house chains).
London 139 Walk to the "Piccadilly Circus" when it's dark and just enjoy the scenery. It's loud, it's crowded and it's blinking everywhere - but you are in one of the biggest cities in Europe and that also is a part of it. (also watch my video!)
