Some time ago we discovered the “Ohlsdorf cemetery“, a large park like cemetery in Hamburg. And since I had some time and it wasn’t raining at least, I tried to watch some birds and other critters.  I walked around 2 hours or so and only saw one other person.

The cemetery must be great for animal watching in the early morning just after sunrise. But it’s not very central and it’s quite a drive when having a hotel in downtown Hamburg. Maybe next time!
