Cars of America

When driving through the USA you’ll see varieties of different cars: Some are demolished and laying in the landscape, some are cheap and some are expensive, cars parked in front of garages, on the streets and so on. Some of them are clean and polished, others are totally dirty and the paint looks awful. Sometimes cars drive by and you think about how they actually can still move.

There is nothing in the USA compared to the German “TรœV” and in some cases I’m really wondering why the police does not pull totally broken vehicles over. It’s the same with road transport: You sometimes see cars / trucks which are totally overloaded, or the load is not secured at all. The only thing you can do when you are behind such a vehicle: Pass it as fast as you can! ๐Ÿ™‚

Photos 21-24 are actually from our three month road trip in 2013. You can read more about it at bastigoesvancouver if you like.
The Jeep on picture six was our rental car. A little underpowered, but enough for getting around ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a good start into the week!
Hopefully we’ll get better weather then. At least in northern Germany it’s pouring down the whole time.
