The Mendocino Botanical Garden is actually not located in Mendocino, but in Fort Bragg. That does not change the fact that we like this place a lot. 🙂 We have already been there a few years ago on our 3 month long road trip and decided to visit the Garden again this year.

It is quite large, with many different kind of gardens (flower garden, vegetable garden..) and looks out to the ocean. This is especially nice, since you can sit on one of the benches on a cliff and look over the pacific ocean. You even can see whales when you are lucky! And in the flower gardens you will definitely spot many hummingbirds and butterflies passing by all the time. This place is really good to just stroll around and relax.
